This Privacy Policy describes how Kotaro Omori ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the SayWay mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. Overview
SayWay is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not require account creation or the provision of personally identifiable information for its core features. Most data generated by your use of the App is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to the Developer.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
2.1 Information You Provide
Translation Text Input: When you enter text for translation, the text is sent to our cloud service (Firebase Cloud Functions) which forwards it to OpenAI's API for AI-powered translation. The Developer does not permanently store your translation text on its servers. Translation history is stored locally on your device via Apple's SwiftData framework.
Voice Input: When you use voice input, your speech is processed through Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer framework. Voice data may be transmitted to Apple's servers in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. The Developer does not access or store raw voice audio data.
Camera Input: When you use the camera translation feature, images are processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework for text recognition (OCR). Images are not transmitted to external servers. Only the recognized text is sent for translation.
Translation Settings: Your custom translation settings (situation, tone, emotion preferences) are stored locally on your device via UserDefaults. These contextual settings are sent along with your translation text to improve translation quality but are not stored on the Developer's servers.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Firebase Usage: The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to verify legitimate app requests and Firebase Cloud Functions to route translation and text-to-speech requests. The App does not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Performance Monitoring. No personally identifiable information is collected through Firebase.
2.3 Purchase Information
All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. The Developer does not collect, process, or store any payment information. Purchase status is verified locally on your device using Apple's StoreKit framework.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances to provide the App's functionality:

4. Data Storage and Retention
Local Storage: Translation history, favorites, and user preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. This data remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
Audio Cache: Text-to-speech audio files are cached locally on your device with a maximum cache size of 300 MB. Audio files associated with favorites are protected from automatic cache eviction. Cached audio is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Third-Party Processing: Translation text and context sent to OpenAI via Firebase Cloud Functions is processed in accordance with OpenAI's data usage policies. The Developer does not control the retention practices of third-party service providers.
iCloud Backup: If you have iCloud Backup enabled, app data stored on your device may be included in your iCloud backup, subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
5. Age Requirement
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Access and Deletion: You can view and delete your translation history and favorites directly within the App. To delete all App data, you may uninstall the App from your device.
Microphone / Speech Recognition Permission: You may revoke microphone and speech recognition permissions at any time through your device's Settings. This will disable the voice input feature but will not affect other functionality.
Camera Permission: You may revoke camera permission at any time through your device's Settings. This will disable the camera translation feature but will not affect other functionality.
Offline Mode: You may use the App's offline translation feature (with downloaded language packs) to avoid sending translation data to external servers. Offline translations are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Translation framework.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including Firebase Anonymous Authentication to verify legitimate app requests. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of data processed by third-party services.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the App.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy or by providing notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.

翻訳テキスト入力：翻訳のためにテキストを入力すると、そのテキストは当社のクラウドサービス（Firebase Cloud Functions）に送信され、OpenAIのAPIに転送されてAI翻訳が生成されます。開発者はお客様の翻訳テキストをサーバー上に永続的に保存しません。翻訳履歴は、AppleのSwiftDataフレームワークを使用してお客様のデバイス上にローカルに保存されます。

4. データの保存と保持
ローカル保存：翻訳履歴、お気に入り、およびユーザー設定は、AppleのSwiftDataフレームワークとUserDefaultsを使用してお客様のデバイス上にローカルに保存されます。このデータは、お客様がアプリ内で削除するか、アプリをアンインストールするまでデバイス上に保持されます。
音声キャッシュ：音声読み上げの音声ファイルは、最大300MBのキャッシュサイズでデバイス上にローカルにキャッシュされます。お気に入りに関連する音声ファイルは、自動キャッシュ削除から保護されます。キャッシュされた音声は、アプリをアンインストールすると削除されます。

5. 年齢要件
本アプリは13歳未満の方を対象としていません。当社は13歳未満のお子様から意図的に個人情報を収集することはありません。13歳未満のお子様が当社に個人情報を提供したと思われる場合は、適切な措置を講じることができるよう、当社までご連絡ください。
6. プライバシー権と選択肢
アクセスと削除：翻訳履歴とお気に入りは、アプリ内で直接閲覧および削除できます。すべてのアプリデータを削除するには、デバイスからアプリをアンインストールしてください。
マイク・音声認識の許可：デバイスの設定からマイクおよび音声認識の許可をいつでも取り消すことができます。これにより音声入力機能は無効になりますが、その他の機能には影響しません。

7. セキュリティ
