About Gift Note – Present Tracker
Gift Note – Present Tracker is a simple app for recording gifts you have received and given. You can register people, occasions (such as birthdays, weddings, seasonal gifts, etc.), gift items, amounts, shops, notes, and photos, and look back on all of them in a clean, scrollable timeline.
The app works offline and stores all gift records locally on your device. A one-time premium upgrade removes ads and unlocks higher limits and extra features.

Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Gift Note – Present Tracker is an application for managing and reviewing gift records. The app is designed to work without any user account, and all gift data you enter is stored locally on your device.
2. Information We Collect
The app itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information on external servers. Specifically, the app does not send the following data outside your device:
- Names of people you register
- Event titles (e.g. “Mom’s birthday”, “Wedding gift”)
- Gift item names
- Amounts or currencies you enter
- Shop or store names
- Notes or memos
- Photos attached to gift records
All records you create (including photos) remain on your device only. The developer cannot view or access this data.
3. Exception: Google AdMob (Free Version Only)
The free version of Gift Note – Present Tracker uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically process certain data for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency capping, or measurement. This can include example data such as:
- Advertising ID (IDFA)
- Approximate location
- Basic ad interaction data (for example, impressions or clicks)
- Device information (model, OS version, etc.)

If you upgrade to the premium version, in-app banner ads are removed from the app UI. However, Google’s SDK may still be present in the app binary.
4. Gift Data and Photos
All data you enter in the app – including:
- Names of givers and recipients
- Gift items and details
- Amounts and currencies
- Shop or store names
- Notes and comments
- Photos attached to each gift
is stored only on your device’s local storage. This information is not automatically backed up or uploaded to any server by this app.
5. Permissions
Gift Note – Present Tracker may request access to the following:
- Photo Library – to allow you to attach photos to your gift records.
These permissions are used only for the intended features within the app. The app does not upload your photos or other data to any external server.
6. In-App Purchases
Gift Note – Present Tracker offers a one-time premium upgrade (non-consumable purchase). All purchase processing is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store via StoreKit. The app itself does not access or store any payment information such as credit card numbers.
Premium features may include, for example:
- Recording gift events beyond the free usage limit
- Removing in-app advertisements
- Additional features such as rankings or export options
7. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are used by the app:
- Google AdMob – for displaying advertisements in the free version.
- Apple StoreKit – for processing in-app purchases.
These services may collect technical or advertising-related data under their own privacy policies. Please refer to each provider’s official documentation for detailed information.
8. Data Sharing
The app does not:
- Sell user data to third parties
- Share user-entered gift records outside the device
- Transfer your gift data to external servers managed by the developer
9. Children’s Privacy
This app is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. AdMob is configured as “Not designed for children.”
